Combination Eyewash Safety ShowerInstallation and Maintenance Instructions
Combination Eyewash Stations are Widely used in medicine, chemical, petrochemical, electronics, semiconductor Industry. Also emergency and safety devices for working region and laboratory. Usage of Eye Washer1. Manually push the eye wash switch (foot pedal, flip cover and full automatic eye wash would be optional), the clean water injects from the eye wash system (the anti-dust covers would be flashed open), when eye washing is done, turn off the switch and recover the eye wash covers.
2.Pull down the shower puller, the water would spray from the shower head, recover the puller after usage and turn off the shower. |
3.Manual emptying device (optional): use before winter, firstly turn on the water inlet valve of eye wash, this makes eye wash functional, then turn off the valve after usage, after that turn on the eye wash emptying valve in order to drain the water left in the pipes, turn off the emptying valve after the draining is done.
4. Automatic emptying device (optional): use before winter, firstly turn on the water inlet valve of eye wash, the clean water would inject from the eye wash system, turn off the eye wash valve and turn on the shower valve, the clean water would inject from the shower head, turn off the water inlet valve of shower system, the system would automatically empty the water left in the eye washer, and no need of turning off the water inlet valve.
5.This eye washer is used for emergency and temporary reduce the injure of face and body, for further treatment and medical care, please follow doctor’s advice.
4. Eye Wash Assembly Steps
1. All thread connections should be tied with seal bands, in order to prevent water leakage (including the parts we connected, please disassemble and tied with bands);
2. Connect the water inlet tee connection to the base and lock up.
3. Connect steel pipe to 5/4 water inlet tee connector, eye wash assembly, 5/4 water inlet tee connector and 90 degree elbow.
4. Assemble the eye wash bowl to eye wash assembly, they are connected with joint.
5. Connect filtering net to eye wash nozzles.
6. Connect assembled eye wash nozzles to horn shape elbow pipe and lock up.
7. Then assemble the horn shape elbow pipe to eye wash bowl, they join together through the joint..

4. Assemble the eye wash bowl to eye wash assembly, they are connected with joint.

7. Then assemble the horn shape elbow pipe to eye wash bowl, they join together through the joint..
8. Put on the sign board to the filtering net.
9. The manual switch board should be connected to the eye wash assembly and locked up with bolts.
10. Connects the one inch pipe to the 90 degree elbow and control valve.
11. Connects the one inch shower inlet pipe to the control valve and one inch elbow.
12. Put on the shower reducer to shower head to connects to the shower head joint.
13. Connect the shower head to the one inch elbow and lock up.
14. Assemble the shower reducer to the one inch elbow and lock up.
15. Connect the one inch spray control valve to the sign board and shower puller and lock up with bolts.
16. Set up the direction of the base and knock down with plug bolts
9. The manual switch board should be connected to the eye wash assembly and locked up with bolts.
10. Connects the one inch pipe to the 90 degree elbow and control valve.
11. Connects the one inch shower inlet pipe to the control valve and one inch elbow.
12. Put on the shower reducer to shower head to connects to the shower head joint.
13. Connect the shower head to the one inch elbow and lock up.
14. Assemble the shower reducer to the one inch elbow and lock up.
15. Connect the one inch spray control valve to the sign board and shower puller and lock up with bolts.
16. Set up the direction of the base and knock down with plug bolts

3. Dimension of water inlet/outlet: NPT1.1/4" (DN 32) or customized according to customer's request, the height of water inlet to the ground: 1600mm, the height of water outlet to the ground: 150mm.

1. Eyewash Station equipment requires weekly inspection (and daily inspection in winter) and record with check lists, any problems found during inspection need to be looked into and fixed.
2. Because of water purifying quality, the filtering nets should be washer every 7 days, and regular replacement is needed every 3 months.
3. Turn on the manual switch, inspect the eye wash water injection, the water cross should be 203mm (8" ) away from the eye wash nozzles.
4. Pull the shower puller, inspect the shower water spray range, the water should be sprayed above the ground of 1524mm, and the spray diameter should above 508mm.

2. Since the date of sales, within one year any damage caused by nature reason would be ok to send back to us and we would provide free replacements.
3. if it is damaged by people, we would charge the material and labor according to the case, and when warranty expires, we provide service with charges.
4. All parts of emergency eye washers can be taken off separately and easily replaced.
